What happens when a queer man returns to his deadhome— the one he no longer identifies or chooses as his own— in search of a reckoning? After years of "no contact" with his mother, Garrett decides to pay her a surprise visit on Thanksgiving. Armed with a new radical understanding of himself and his family, his visit disrupts the holiday and sets in motion a chain of events that will have shocking and unexpected consequences.
